This website was created to give you an educational, informative, and insightful look at the 15 most prominent American holidays that we celebrate. Just because a holiday is not listed on this website, does not mean that it is not important to the culture, heritage, or any less valuable to our society. Please understand that. We took the 15 most observed and recognized holidays, and featured them on this website, the choices had nothing to do with religion or preference.
This site is intended to give a history about the selected holidays along with that personal touch about what each holiday should mean and represent to you and your loved ones. We hope you enjoy our site and want to give a personal thank you and shout out to The Content Queen, who helped make this dream possible with her hard work and devotion with providing us with virtually all of the content on this website. This website is about appreciating the events that have helped shaped our society and country. The four seasons represent change and with each season comes several holidays that are deserving of recognition. The fifteen holidays are spread out throughout the year.
